Knight Fire and Security Products Ltd was formed originally as Knight Plastics Ltd in 1984 by the late Fred Wegener and his wife Marion. We are now part of the Knight Manufacturing Group which includes Knight Precision Tooling Ltd and incorporates MSW Engineering Ltd and Knight Precision Moulding.
The business grew successfully over the years and in 1999 their sons Colin and Tim became the new directors, leading to 2006, when we became Knight Fire and Security Products Ltd.
Knight Fire and Security Products Ltd is focused on being the best manufacturer in the world of magnetic contacts, junction boxes, panic buttons, call points and other alarm ancillaries. We export worldwide and also deal with most major distributors and installers in the UK. A huge investment programme has enabled us to develop a market leading range of contacts, panic buttons, junction boxes, with more products on their way!
A key part of our culture is to listen and act on customer’s suggestions, so our products are continually evolving and improving. We are able to act quickly where changes are required due to the fact we make all the products in house.
All products are manufactured in the UK by our professional and experienced staff. They comply with all current European standards and are all made to our strict UKAS audited ISO Quality System.
We also have a well-equipped, efficient, plastic injection mould shop with 17 modern machines and robots, making our own mouldings for our security products and running contract moulding work for a select group of customers ranging from multi-nationals to sole trader businesses.

Knight Fire and Security Products sister company Knight Precision Tooling have, over the past 20 years, manufactured hundreds (if not thousands!) of injection mould tools, press tools and casting tools. We have a 5,000 square foot tool-room at our Aberbargoed site, packed with state of the art CNC machinery and this is backed up by a network of international tooling and engineering partners. We have a highly skilled and very experienced team of toolmakers, engineers and project managers to handle all types of tooling and precision engineering projects and work with major household names, in aerospace, defence, automotive, teletronic, medical, FMCG, construction and many other industries.. The tool quality, service and speed of manufacture we supply really is excellent as our many happy will testify to.
